By accessing the website at www.themanas.org, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

PLEASE NOTE: MANAS IS NOT AND DOES NOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES. IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE A MEDICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH EMERGENCY, OR IF AT ANY TIME YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR CARE OR TREATMENT, CALL 100 OR GO TO THE NEAREST OPEN CLINIC OR EMERGENCY ROOM.

PRIVACY POLICY

It is MANAS policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website. Accordingly, we have developed this privacy policy in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate, disclose, and otherwise make use of personal information. We have outlined our privacy policy below. We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned. Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected. We will collect and use personal information solely for fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other ancillary purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law. Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date. We will protect personal information by using reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We will readily make available to the client the information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information. We will only retain personal information for as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes. We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained. MANAS may change this privacy policy from time to time at MANAS sole discretion.

COUNSELLOR SERVICES

  • The website www.themanas.org enables you to communicate with a counselor/ psychologist, psychiatrist for the purpose of getting counseling, information, advice, or any other input, benefit, or service (collectively "Counsellor Services").
     

  • All of the Counsellors who deliver Services through the Company are independent professionals responsible for the services each such Counsellor provides to you.
     

  • Counselors are not the employees or agents of MANAS. Furthermore, MANAS assumes no responsibility for any act, omission, or doing of any Counsellor.
     

  • Your relationship relating to the Counsellor Services is strictly with the Counsellor. We are not involved in any way with the actual substance of that relationship or any part of the Counsellor Service (whether provided through the website or not), we do not validate or involved in any of the Counsellor Services.
     

  • In case you make a payment through the Platform, or make any payment to us, this payment is made for the Counselor Services, who are paid subsequently by MANAS. We will not be deemed as the counselor of any Counselor Services regardless of payment.
     

  • We do not practice medicine or any other licensed profession, and does not interfere with them. Each counselor is responsible for his or her services and compliance with the requirements applicable to his or her profession and license, MANAS operates the Site as an online and offline platform for the comfort of our client.
     

  • We shall help you to appoint Counsellor to you to provide the Services stated herein and shall exercise our reasonable best efforts to provide the highest quality of service. However, we do not warrant that the quality of any of the Services, information, and/or other material that You will meet Your expectations or that any errors in the Services will be corrected.

  • We make no representation or warranty whatsoever as to whether you will find the Counsellor Services relevant, useful, correct, satisfactory or suitable to your needs. In the event You have a complaint or grievance regarding any aspect of the Services provided hereunder, We hope You will be able to talk to Your Counsellor about it first. Our goal is to provide You with the best standard of care and Your welfare will always be a priority for the Company.

 

CONFIDENTIALITY

Confidentiality is an essential part of all counseling and psychotherapy. It underpins the client's sense of safety and trust and contributes to making the counseling relationship different from any other.  The counseling Practice holds all records securely and will ensure confidentiality in the treatment of any information held about its clients, All information recorded and held is solely for the purpose of maintaining effective outcome. All information will be kept confidential unless the client and counselor agree to discuss something with a third party. Where appropriate a consent form will be used. The only reason for breaking confidentiality would be if the counselor considered that your life was at risk, if another person's life was at risk or if the counselor was liable to civil or criminal court proceedings if the information was not disclosed. If at all possible this would be discussed beforehand.

ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

MANAS is strongly committed to anti-discrimination. It values difference and diversity and does not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender and gender identity, sexual preference or orientation, marital/partnership status, religion, race, color, national origin, disability, heritage or political belief.

CANCELLATION AND MISSED SESSION POLICY

If for any reason you are unable to attend your appointment please let us know as soon as possible. The required notice for cancellation is 48 hours. Where there is less notice of cancellation or if you do not attend your appointment you will be charged the full fee. With adequate advanced notice, where possible, you may be offered an alternative appointment. You will be given as much advance notice as possible in terms of the holidays or need to cancel your appointment for any other reason.

  • CANCELLATION: If You want to cancel or reschedule your session then please contact our Customer Support team at 9494 36 2233 or email them at contact.themans@gmail.com. They will help you with cancellation or Rescheduling.
     

  • REFUND POLICY: If You cancel the appointment at least 24 hours before the session, then You will receive a full refund after notification of cancellation is provided to the Customer Support team. To ensure a cancellation request is processed, the client must call a Customer Support team at 9494 36 2233 or email to contact.themans@gmail.com.

  

FEE AND PAYMENTS 

The duration of any Counsellor session would range from 40-60 minutes. You will be charged according to the counselor assigned to you. You confirm and agree that all payment-related information that you provided and will provide in the future, to or through the Platform, are accurate, current, and correct and will continue to be accurate, current, and correct.

  • The applicable refund will be made within 7 days of receipt of the notice of cancellation.

  • If the sessions couldn't be conducted because of a technical glitch at our end, then the Client will receive a full refund within 7 days of the scheduled session.

  • In case you not happy with your session, you are eligible for a 100% no questions asked refund or we could help connect you with another Counsellor better suited to your needs.

 

MODIFICATIONS IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

MANAS may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.

We reserve the right to change our Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes that we make will become a part of our agreement with you when they are posted to our Site.

TERMINATION

MANAS reserves the right, in the event you breach these Term of Use stipulated herein, to suspend and/or terminate your access to the Site with or without notice to you. Any suspected illegal, fraudulent or abusive activity may be grounds for terminating your access to the Platform. Upon suspension or termination, Your right to procure the Counsellor Services on the Platform shall immediately cease and we reserve the right to remove or delete your information that is available with MANAS, including but not limited to Your login and Account Information.

 

ROLE, REPRESENTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CLIENT

  • During your online consultation with a Counsellor, details of your health history and personal health information may be discussed with you through the use of interactive video, audio, and other direct means.

  • The Counsellor Services you receive from Counsellors are not intended to replace or substitute a primary care physician relationship or be your permanent medical home. You should seek emergency help or follow-up care when recommended by a Counsellor or when otherwise needed, and continue to consult with your primary care physician and other healthcare professionals as recommended.

  • Never disregard, avoid, or delay in obtaining medical advice from your doctor or other qualified healthcare providers because of something You have read on the Site. If you have or suspect that you have a medical problem or condition, please contact a qualified healthcare professional immediately. The Services provided hereunder and/or by the Counsellors are intended for general purposes only and not for emergencies/serious illnesses requiring physical consultation.

  • Through the Platform, Counsellor Services are provided exclusively by Counsellors. MANAS supports Counsellors by providing them with a license to our MANAS intellectual property rights, including our patent-pending inventions, trade secrets, copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade dress and proprietary and confidential information, access MANAS technology platform, and administrative services. However, under the Services, exclusive control and responsibility for the practice of medicine and delivery of Counsellor Services is reserved to Counsellors.

  • All Counsellors available through the Platform represent that they have degrees, licenses and/or certifications, as applicable, in the areas of psychology and/or psychiatry and/or counseling

  • MANAS and Counsellors will rely on You to provide accurate and complete information throughout Your use of the Site and the Services provided therein in order to order to enable us to provide appropriate care to You. You also expressly agree that You shall immediately notify Your Counsellor as soon as You become aware of any critical change to Your information that You impact any treatment plan provided through the Site by the Counsellor.
     

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge that you understand and agree with the following:

  • You understand that you may expect the anticipated benefits from the use of counseling in your care, but that no results can be guaranteed or assured.

  • Your Counsellor may determine that the Services are not appropriate for some or all of your treatment needs, and accordingly may elect not to provide Counsellor Services to you through the Site.
